  • Translation of documents related to public events, including conferences, conventions, and annual meetings, from one official language to the other.
  • Translation of foundational documents like constitutions, charters, and by-laws during an organization's start-up phase.
  • Creating bilingual promotional materials for the organization's mandate and services, including pamphlets, brochures, posters, news releases, and websites during the start-up phase.
  • Translation of documents associated with public and annual meetings or conferences.
  • Translation of training guides and public-interest research or reports.

Eligibility

Eligibility for this grant is determined by specific criteria related to the organization's type, location, and objectives.
  • The applicant must be a non-profit organization with a social and/or community focus.
  • The organization must be registered according to federal and/or provincial laws.
  • The organization's permanent office must be located in New Brunswick.
  • The organization must aim to promote participation of both official language communities at public forums.
  • The organization must work to make more public interest publications available in both official languages.
  • Individuals, government departments and their agencies, health care institutions/organizations, as well as professional and recreational organizations, are not eligible.

Any non-profit organization with a social and/or community focus, registered according to federal and/or provincial laws, whose permanent office is located in New Brunswick. These organizations should aim to:- Promote participation of both official language communities at public forums in the not-for-profit sector;- Make available more public interest publications in both official languages.Note that individuals, government departments and their agencies, health care institutions/organizations, as well as professional and recreational organizations are excluded.
