Strategic Industry Growth Initiative (SIGGI) - ACOA

This program provides non-repayable funding of up to $50,000 for sustainable business growth projects. It supports strategic planning, assessments, and implementation initiatives linked to automation and digitalization, the green economy, international business development, or an inclusive workforce.

Strategic Industry Growth Initiative (SIGGI) - ACOA Funds up to 75% of admissible expenses, capped at $50,000 per project.

To be eligible for the Strategic Industry Growth Initiative (SIGGI) - ACOA program, you must: General eligibility to confirm: - The project and organization must align with ACOA program objectives and the selected stream’s eligibility requirements. - The project must target Atlantic Canada and support economic growth, productivity, innovation, or regional networks. - The application must be complete and accurate; missing key information may delay assessment or prevent ACOA from considering the request. Business Scale-up and Productivity stream: - Eligible businesses include sole proprietorships, partnerships, social enterprises, incorporated companies, corporations or cooperatives, Indigenous-owned businesses, and other enterprise types. - Non-profit organizations that offer services to businesses may also apply. Regional Innovation Ecosystems stream: - Eligible non-profit organizations and bodies include post-secondary institutions, accelerators/incubators, angel networks, social enterprises, industry associations or consortia, municipalities and municipal-type organizations, and community-owned Indigenous businesses.
