Overview
Get up to $15 million to cover up to 50% of eligible expenses for a project to produce and inject natural gas into the distribution grid, or to connect to distribution grid of RNG production sites.

Eligibility
Eligibility for this grant is determined by specific criteria related to the applicant's profile and past compliance.
- The applicant must be an enterprise, a non-profit organization, or a municipal entity.
- The applicant must hold a Québec enterprise number at the time of application if they are a business or non-profit organization.
- The applicant must have experience in the field of bioenergy development.
- The applicant must not be a ministry or a budgetary agency of the Government of Québec.
- The applicant must not be a person designated by the National Assembly, a federal ministry, or government agency.
- The applicant must have fulfilled all obligations related to prior financial assistance from the Government of Québec for at least two years.
- The applicant must not be in a state of bankruptcy or insolvency.
- The applicant must not be listed on the Register of Enterprises Ineligible for Public Contracts (RENA) or use subcontractors listed on RENA.
- The applicant must not commit ethical breaches or offer products or services that could undermine the integrity or probity of the Government of Québec, even by association.
Who is eligible?
Eligible applicants for this grant are businesses, non-profit organizations (NPOs), and municipal entities in Quebec. Applicants must have a Quebec enterprise number and experience in bioenergy development. They must not be a ministry, budgetary organization of the Quebec government, or a designee of the National Assembly, federal department, or agency. Additionally, they must not have any past financial assistance violations from the Quebec government in the past two years, must not be bankrupt or insolvent, nor listed on the Register of companies not eligible for public contracts (RENA). They must also uphold ethical standards and not offer products or services that could harm the integrity or reputation of the Quebec government. Projects that are eligible involve the production and injection of renewable natural gas (RNG) into Quebec's natural gas distribution network, utilizing commercially proven technologies, and having a lifespan of at least ten years with a minimal production and injection period of four years post-realization.
