PISAQ Volet 4 – Submission deadline extended and collective projects closed
The submission deadline for sub-volet 4.1 has been extended from March 31, 2026 to March 31, 2027, giving applicants one additional year to submit their individual farm projects. Sub-volet 4.2, which supported collective projects such as biosecurity workshops for poultry operations without quota and beekeeping activities related to varroa mites or brood diseases, is now completely closed to new applications. The funding amounts, eligibility criteria, and application procedures for active programs remain unchanged.

- Applicants under bankruptcy or creditor protection
- Applicants with unresolved prior obligations after formal notice from the ministry
- Applicants under an animal welfare order

- Staff wages, social charges, and benefits tied to the project
- Equipment rental or purchase, room or building rental
- Travel, lodging, communication, advertising, information-sharing costs, didactic content design, and approved tools
- Accompaniment and vaccination of animals by a veterinarian

How to apply
- Step 1: Prepare the application

- Submit during an open application period.
- Step 3: Review and decision
- Wait for the acknowledgment and admissibility notice.
- Receive the final decision by email.
- If approved, sign the funding agreement.
Processing and Agreement
- The ministry sends an acknowledgment after submission.
- Eligible complete applications receive a notice of admissibility.
- A decision letter is then sent by email.
- If approved, a funding agreement must be signed.
- Payment follows acceptance of required supporting documents, and veterinary reports must be sent as PDF by email to pisaq@mapaq.gouv.qc.ca; submissions transferred through Flora are not accepted.
