  • For a subject business, a copy of francization or, failing that, a certificate of registration with the OQLF, an acknowledgement of receipt of the linguistic situation analysis, or a valid program application attestation issued by the OQLF.
  • Other relevant documents.

Eligibility

Who is eligible?

  • For-profit businesses legally incorporated under Quebec or Canadian law, and social economy businesses with commercial activities.

Who is not eligible

  • Crown corporations and businesses controlled by a government or municipal entity; bankrupt or insolvent businesses; businesses that have not fulfilled obligations related to previous public or MRC assistance; businesses listed in or using subcontractors listed in the Register of Enterprises Ineligible for Public Contracts (RENA); and businesses whose ethical conduct, products or services could undermine the integrity or probity of the Quebec government.

Eligible expenses

Working capital needs, for a limited period not exceeding one year, required for businesses affected by U.S. tariffs to continue operations and adapt to the new business environment.


Ineligible Costs and Activities

  • Businesses operating in the production or distribution of controversial weapons, exploration, extraction, drilling, production and refining related to fossil fuels, the operation of gambling and games of chance, the operation of violent games, sexual exploitation, real estate management and development, as well as the production, sale and services related to the consumption of tobacco or drugs are not eligible. Certain exceptions may be eligible in the case of cannabis and industrial hemp.

Processing and Agreement

  • The MRC may conduct any investigations it deems necessary to make a decision on the application.
  • The MRC may share information with current or potential partners in the project.
  • The information provided may be used to check the criminal records of the company’s shareholders and the company’s credit rating.
  • The MRC d’Antoine-Labelle may share the file and the application with another organization if support requires it.
  • A false declaration may result in the application being refused, and submitting an application does not necessarily mean it will be accepted.
