Eligible expenses
- Purchase of personal protective equipment such as masks, face shields, gloves, sanitizer, disinfectant chemicals/wipes, chemical sprayers, no-touch thermometers, protective gear (scrubs, lab coats, etc.).
- Cost of building or purchasing physical barriers (e.g., plexiglass, sneeze guards), signage or floor markers, sanitizing stations, and materials for curbside pickup or contactless payment structures.
- Installation of touchless devices including doors, waste containers, and bathroom upgrades (taps, sinks, etc.).
- Purchase or rental of equipment and furniture needed to ensure safe customer-facing operations, as well as electrical and plumbing work directly related to these renovations.
- External third-party labour costs for eligible renovations (if no conflict of interest).
- Website creation or design expenses and hiring external staff for copywriting or product photography for the website.
- One-time setup fees and new monthly fees (from March to September 2020) for online e-commerce platforms.
- Expenses for webinar software to support engagement with customers.
- Purchase of hardware for touchless payment solutions.

- Priority consideration is given to businesses owned by Indigenous People, women, visible minorities, LGBTQ2+, and persons with disabilities.
- Recipients must participate in marketing and communications activities as requested by fund partners.
- All grant applications and supporting documentation become the property of the Ontario Chamber of Commerce and will not be returned.
- Applicants' names and funding levels may be published and included in OCC reporting.
