- Completed and signed EPRTNT 25-27 funding request form (PDF)
- Copy of call for tenders specifications (issues, objectives, methodology, deadlines, deliverables)
- Two offers of professional services (tenders) from consultants
- Board resolution (or equivalent) authorizing the funding request and signatory
- Confirmation of financial partners, if available
- OQLF attestation or certificate for Québec organizations with 25+ employees over 6 months
- Indigenous certification or recognition document, if applicable
- Proof of Aventure Écotourisme Québec Quality-Safety compliance or process, if applicable
Eligibility
- Must be a legally incorporated organization under Québec or Canadian law.
- Must operate and conduct business activities in Québec.
- Must be a tourism-focused business or organization, municipal entity, Indigenous community/organization, regional tourism association, or a group of such clients.
- Must have fulfilled commitments related to any previous subsidies received from partners.
- For tourism accommodation or nature/adventure activities, must comply with applicable laws, bylaws, registration and sector standards.

- Tourism cooperatives.
- Municipal entities involved in tourism development.
- Indigenous communities, nations, and Indigenous tourism organizations or businesses.
- Regional tourism associations with financial partners’ support.
- Groups or consortia made up of these eligible clients.
Who is not eligible
- State-owned enterprises.
- Québec and Canadian government ministries and agencies.
- Organizations listed in the Registre des entreprises non admissibles aux contrats publics (RENA).
Eligible expenses
- Professional fees paid to specialized firms or consultants for studies, assessments, or targeted business coaching.
- Net non-refundable taxes related to these direct professional service costs.
Ineligible Costs and Activities
- Regular wages, operating and management costs related to the promoter’s activities.
- Working capital, debt service, capital losses, share buybacks and financing costs.
- Compliance, maintenance or upgrading costs for assets or bylaws, and regular maintenance.
- Refundable portions of taxes and any costs eligible for tax refunds.
- Transfers of assets, donations, in-kind or service contributions.
- Promotional, advertising and marketing expenses.
- Legal fees and compensation paid to lobbyists.
- Cost overruns beyond the approved budget.
- Costs incurred under contracts signed before filing the funding request (except project development fees).

- Businesses and organizations operating in Québec.
- Projects led in the Nunavik region under the EPRTNT 25-27 agreement.
Selection criteria
- Alignment with EPRTNT 25-27 objectives.
- Magnitude of anticipated impact on tourism (visitation, scope, partnerships, jobs, season extension).
- Innovative character and quality of design, products, and services.
- Sound financial structure and overall financing package.
- Project relevance, feasibility, and integration of sustainable development principles.
How to apply
- Step 1: Prepare Project and Tenders
- Define the consulting or study mandate, objectives, methodology, and deliverables.
- Launch a call for tenders and obtain at least two professional service offers.
- Prepare the call for tenders specifications document.
- Step 2: Compile Required Documents
- Complete the Nunavik region EPRTNT 25-27 funding request form.
- Obtain a board resolution (or equivalent) authorizing the application and signatory.
- Gather required attestations, confirmations of financial partners, and any relevant certifications.
- Step 3: Submit Application
- Assemble the completed form and all supporting documents.
- Email the full application package to marc@nunavik-tourism.com.
Additional information
- Projects must be completed no later than March 31, 2027.
- The call for projects remains open until all funds are committed.
- Each funding partner (Ministère du Tourisme, KRG, Makivvik) has its own financial processes and requirements.
- Nunavik Tourism Association guides promoters through the funding partners’ processes.
