Documents Needed
- Completed and signed EPRTNT 25-27 funding request form (PDF)
- Complete business plan for the project
- Organization’s financial statements for the past two years (where required)
- Three-year financial forecasts following project completion (where required)
- Board or equivalent resolution authorizing the funding request and signatory
- Document showing project income and expenses and operating cost commitment resolution (for municipal entities and Indigenous communities)
- Confirmation of financial partners, if available
- Proof of Aventure Écotourisme Québec Quality-Safety compliance or process initiation (for nature and adventure tourism businesses)
- Indigenous certification or status certificate, if applicable
Eligibility
- Must be a legally incorporated organization under Québec or Canadian law doing business in Québec.
- Must operate or support tourism activities in Nunavik and align with EPRTNT 25-27 objectives.
- Must have fulfilled commitments related to any previous subsidies from partners.
- Tourism accommodation operators must comply with applicable laws and hold a valid registration number.
- Nature and adventure tourism businesses must meet or commit to meeting Aventure Écotourisme Québec Quality-Safety standards.
Who is eligible?
- For-profit tourism businesses.
- Non-profit tourism organizations and cooperatives.
- Municipal entities involved in tourism.
- Indigenous communities, nations, and Indigenous tourism organizations or businesses.
- Groups or partnerships formed by any of the eligible client types.
Who is not eligible
- State-owned enterprises of Québec or Canada.
- Ministries and government agencies of Québec and Canada.
- Applicants listed in the Registre des entreprises non admissibles aux contrats publics (RENA).
Eligible expenses
- Professional fees for support and implementation of digital solutions.
- Purchase of technological or other equipment required to use the solution.
- Initial cloud service subscriptions for up to 24 months.
- Purchase of software, mobile applications, e-commerce or ERP tools to increase customer interaction and improve management.
- Travel, overhead, wages and benefits directly related to the project, training and development fees for staff implementing the digital project, and net non-refundable taxes on eligible costs.
Ineligible Costs and Activities
- Regular wages, routine operating costs, and overhead not specific to the project.
- Purchase or lease of land, buildings, facilities, or other capital equipment.
- Bandwidth purchases, recurring solution operating costs, and online sales commission fees.
- Working capital, debt service, capital losses, share buybacks, and financing costs.
- Compliance upgrades, maintenance, refundable taxes, donations or in-kind contributions, promotional and marketing expenses, cost overruns, legal fees, and costs incurred before filing (except project development fees).

- Organizations doing business in Québec, with projects managed by Nunavik Tourism Association.

- Alignment with EPRTNT 25-27 objectives.
- Magnitude of impact on tourism, including visitor draw, scope, partnerships, jobs, and season extension.
- Innovative nature and quality of design, products, and services.
- Strength of financial structure, relevance to tourism markets, and marketing approach.
- Project feasibility and consideration of sustainable development principles.
How to apply
- Step 1: Prepare Project and Business Plan
- Define the digital development project and ensure it aligns with program objectives.
- Prepare a complete business plan and gather required financial documents.
- Step 2: Complete Application Form
- Fill out the Nunavik region EPRTNT 25-27 funding request form.
- Ensure all sections of the form are completed and signed.
- Step 3: Compile Supporting Documents
- Attach the business plan, financial statements, resolutions, and any required certifications.
- Include confirmations of financial partners, if available.
- Step 4: Submit Application
- Send the completed form and all required documents by email to marc@nunavik-tourism.com.
Additional information
- Projects must be fully completed no later than March 31, 2027.
- The call for projects remains open until all funds are committed.
- Each funding partner (Ministry of Tourism, KRG, Makivvik) has its own financial processes and requirements.
- A minimum investment from the project promoter is required, varying by client type.
