Documents Needed
- Completed and signed EPRTNT 25-27 funding request form (PDF)
- Complete project business plan, including required licences and permits list
- Organization’s financial statements for the past two years, if applicable
- Three-year financial forecasts following project completion, if applicable
- Board or equivalent resolution authorizing the funding application and signatory
Eligibility
- Be a tourism business, municipal entity, Indigenous community or nation, or Indigenous tourism organization or business
- Be legally incorporated under Québec or Canadian law and operate in Québec
- Have fulfilled commitments related to any previous subsidies received from partners
- For accommodation establishments, comply with all applicable laws and bylaws and hold a valid registration number
- For nature and adventure tourism businesses, meet or commit to meeting Aventure Écotourisme Québec Quality-Safety standards

- Non-profit tourism organizations and cooperatives
- Municipal entities in Québec
- Indigenous communities, nations, and Indigenous tourism organizations or businesses
- Groups or partnerships formed by the above eligible clients
Who is not eligible
- State-owned enterprises
- Québec or Canadian government ministries and agencies
- Applicants listed in the Registre des entreprises non admissibles aux contrats publics (RENA)
Eligible expenses
- Construction, rebuilding, expansion, development, adaptation, conversion, or replacement of infrastructure or equipment, including creation of new tourist experiences
- Professional, technical, consultant, and project management fees, including project development studies and business plans
- Site development, planning, and enhancement, including specialized equipment, furniture, vessels, and automotive equipment for visitor experience
- Purchase of necessary land, easements, and rights of way, plus related costs (with restrictions for affiliated sellers)
- Costs related to sustainable practices, site surveys, quality control, eligible net taxes, contingencies (up to 15%), and integration of artworks under the Québec arts integration policy
Ineligible Costs and Activities
- Purchase of a business and its infrastructure, or motorized equipment not dedicated to the visitor experience.
- Promotion and marketing expenses, including website redesign, and purchase of animals.
- Administrative, storage, or retail equipment and space, leasing of land or real estate, and regular maintenance or operating costs.
- Working capital, debt service, capital losses, share buybacks, bringing the business up to standards, bylaw compliance, and recoverable taxes.
- Asset transfers, in-kind contributions, financing costs, lobbyist fees, legal fees, cost overruns, and costs contracted before applying (except eligible project development fees).

How to apply
- Step 1: Prepare Project Documentation
- Develop a complete business plan for the accommodation project.
- Compile required financial statements, forecasts, resolutions, and supporting documents.
- Step 2: Complete Application Form
- Fill out the Nunavik region EPRTNT 25-27 funding request form for the Accommodation category.
- Step 3: Submit Application
- Send the completed form and all required documents by email to marc@nunavik-tourism.com.
Additional information
- Projects must be fully completed by March 31, 2027.
- The call for projects remains open until all funds are committed.
- Sustainable development measures are required and considered in project appraisal.
- Specific rules apply for public calls for tenders and equal access employment for larger projects.
