Eligibility
Who is eligible?
The Manitoba Climate Action Fund (CAF) is accessible to diverse entities within Manitoba committed to addressing climate change through various projects. Eligibility is determined based on the nature of the organization and other criteria described below.
- Incorporated non-profit organizations.
- Academic or educational institutions.
- Manitoba municipalities.
- Northern Affairs Communities.
- Indigenous communities or organizations.
- Businesses, including Social Enterprise Businesses (registered with the Province of Manitoba).
Applicants must be active and have established operations within Manitoba for at least one year. Conversely, ineligible applicants include individuals, Crown corporations, federal and provincial government departments or agencies, and watershed districts.
Who is not eligible
This grant specifically excludes certain types of organizations and individuals from applying, focusing eligibility on community-oriented and economically impactful entities based in Manitoba.
