Job integration contract (CIT)

Who is eligible?

Eligible applicants for the Job Integration Contract in Quebec include any employer willing to facilitate the integration and retention of a person with disabilities in a standard work environment. For individuals, those eligible are persons who are either receiving employment insurance, last resort financial assistance, or support from other public regimes, as well as temporary foreign workers and part-time or full-time students. The employer must ensure that the employment matches the individual's abilities and is within Quebec.

• Employers not willing to integrate and support disabled employees.
• Organizations that do not fit the definition of a standard work environment due to a high proportion of disabled employees.

• Wage support to offset reduced productivity and additional supervision needs of the employee.
