The DAIR Cloud Program is open to Canadian businesses with fewer than 500 employees who are building or developing a commercial product or service. To qualify, businesses must use DAIR for design, development, validation, and/or demonstration purposes.

Canadian startups and small & medium enterprises (SMEs) with fewer than 500 employees are eligible for the DAIR Cloud Program. They must be building or developing a commercial product or service to qualify for access to the resources.

Eligible expenses for the DAIR Cloud Program include:
  • Hosted-in-Canada public cloud resources on Amazon Web Services
  • Graphical Processor Units (GPUs), based on availability

The DAIR Cloud Program evaluates applications based on the following criteria:
  • Canadian business with fewer than 500 employees.
  • Building or developing a commercial product or service.
  • Intent to use DAIR resources for design, development, validation, and/or demonstration purposes.
  • Provide feedback on the quality and benefit of the program.

  • Step 2: Applications are reviewed quickly, typically receiving a response within five (5) business days.
  • Step 3: If qualified, you'll receive credentials to access the DAIR Cloud within another five (5) business days.
