  • Strength and relevance of organizational information, including mandate and governance (33%).
  • Alignment of event scope, activities, and objectives with the funding purpose; effective planning; focus on priority neighborhood or group (33%).
  • Demonstrated organizational capacity to lead the event (17%).
  • Reasonableness and feasibility of the proposed budget (17%).

Additional information

  • Successful applicants must submit a financial statement of actual revenues and expenses as part of their reporting obligations.
  • If the organization is not incorporated, at least three directors must sign the Contribution Agreement and are individually liable for the event.
  • Events featuring bouncy castles require setup and supervision by a professional company with its own insurance.
  • Fireworks included in the event must be supervised by a fireworks Supervisor, in accordance with municipal guidelines.
