Eligibility
Who is eligible?
- Not-for-profit organizations.
- For-profit organizations with non-commercial, non-profit-seeking activities that support the program.
- Research organizations and institutes.
- Indigenous organizations or governments.
- Municipal, provincial, and territorial entities, institutions, agencies, Crown corporations, and educational institutions.
Eligible expenses
- Micro-grants paid to youth-led projects.
- Wages, MERCs, and professional fees.
- Materials, supplies, printing, and communication costs.
- Participant supports, mentoring, and non-financial incentives.
- Data collection and reporting costs.
Ineligible Costs and Activities
- Stipends, completion bonuses, scholarships, student loan repayment, severance pay, and honoraria for participants.
- International travel costs.
- Gift cards as recognition.
- Debts, membership fees, credit card payments, fines, penalties, and mortgage payments.
- Primary accommodations of participants.

- Canada
- Projects may be delivered in one or more provinces and territories.
Processing and Agreement
- Applications are screened for eligibility and completeness.
- Selected proposals are assessed against program criteria and priorities.
- Applicants are notified in writing of the funding decision.
- If approved, a Contribution Agreement must be signed before any activities or spending begin.
- No appeal process is available.

- Applications are closed.
- Organizations may apply to more than one CSC stream, but only one application per stream.
- Quebec entities subject to M-30 must obtain Government of Quebec authorization before signing an agreement.
