The Agricultural and Sector Show Support Program – Stream 2 provides up to $30,000 per applicant per fiscal year (up to $90,000 over the program’s duration) to support projects that increase public interest in the agri-food sector and encourage youth involvement in agriculture. Eligibility
- The applicant must be an agricultural exhibition or the Association des expositions agricoles du Québec.
- The project must be undertaken for the first time by the applicant.
- The project must be conducted during an agricultural exhibition.
- The project must aim to increase public interest in the agri-food sector or encourage youth involvement in agriculture.
- The project must include educational, interactive, or demonstration activities.

- Companies and organizations that are not agricultural fairs or the Association des expositions agricoles du Québec.
Eligible expenses
- Professional fees for contractors.
- Portion of salaries and benefits for staff or partners directly involved in the project (up to the portion justified or equivalent to 26% of salary, or another amount justified by accounting demonstration).
- Advertising and communication expenses.
- Purchase, design, or adaptation of materials and equipment (covered up to 50% of the financial aid granted).
- Rental costs for venues, machinery, materials, or equipment.
- Travel and accommodation expenses for applicants, partners, or contractors (within government-permitted rates).
