The Agricultural and Sector Show Support Program – Stream 1.1 provides up to $225,000 per year (maximum $675,000 over the program) to support agricultural exhibitions and their animal judging activities. The funding aims to strengthen the capacity to hold annual agricultural events, covering eligible activities such as planning, organization, implementation of eco-responsible actions, and associated operational costs.
Financing terms and conditions
- Financial aid covers up to 70% of eligible project expenses.
- Maximum funding of $225,000 per applicant per fiscal year.
- Total program funding limit of $675,000 per applicant for the entire program duration.
- Administrative costs are eligible up to 10% of the financial aid granted.

Eligibility criteria of the Agricultural and Sector Show Support Program – Stream 1.1 program
- The applicant must be an agricultural exhibition.
- The project must aim to plan, organize, and hold one or more agricultural exhibitions.
- The project must be part of a business plan implementation.
- The project must include at least three eco-responsible actions from the Conseil québécois des événements écoresponsables list, with at least one related to food.
- The project must respect the maximum duration set for the project submission period.

- Purchase, design, production, or adaptation of materials and equipment.
- Web content development and design expenses.
- Scholarships, rewards, and prizes presented to producers during judging activities.
- Travel and accommodation expenses for contractors (within public sector limits).
- Administrative costs (up to 10% of the financial assistance granted).
- Operational expenses required for the event.
- Logistics expenses related to the project execution.
