Ineligible Costs and Activities
- Costs not directly related to the project
- Cost overruns, debt service, capital replacement, and financial restructuring
- Building construction or renovation, land or building purchases, and normal maintenance
- Electronic or computer equipment, software, and licenses
- Meals for the applicant, exhibitors, or participants
- Activities already funded by another program or related to cannabis products not authorized by Health Canada

Processing and Agreement
- Submitted applications are reviewed by MAPAQ representatives.
- Eligible complete applications are analyzed against program objectives and feasibility.
- The applicant is informed of the funding decision by mail or email.
- If approved, the applicant must sign a funding agreement.
- Payments are made in up to two installments, with final payment based on accepted deliverables and supporting documents.
