The Township of Havelock-Belmont-Methuen provides municipal funding tools that respond to local infrastructure, affordability and economic-development needs. Linked programs include the Private Roads Grant Program, tax relief for low-income seniors and persons with disabilities, and the Village of Havelock Community Improvement Plan. The private roads program assists eligible private road associations with capital improvement costs such as culvert replacement or installation. The Community Improvement Plan allows the township to direct funding toward projects unique to the Village of Havelock, including facade improvements, accessibility upgrades, downtown revitalization and adaptive reuse. In the funding ecosystem, the township plays a practical last-mile role. Its grants address local assets and residents that may be invisible to broader programs, helping property owners, road associations and small businesses keep community infrastructure safe, accessible and economically useful.
