About PRIM

PRIM is an artist center, founded in 1981, dedicated to supporting independent artists, collectives, and organizations working with sound and moving images in all their forms. The center promotes research, experimentation, and creation in the arts, helping local talent to thrive and innovate.

Services and Programs

PRIM offers a wide range of production and post-production services, along with specialized training for artists. Members can benefit from support programs, affordable rentals for studios and technical equipment, and access to experienced technicians. Starting June 2025, discounts for support programs will apply only when studios are booked with a PRIM technician or when artists work independently.

Support Programs and Key Dates

Every year, PRIM opens its doors for funding applications to assist creative projects. The next major deadline for program submissions is October 15, 2025. Artists interested in these grants are encouraged to participate in information sessions or open house events for guidance and support during the application process.
