Eligible expenses

  • Venue, studio, and equipment rentals for finishing services
  • Post-production services such as editing, online editing, colour correction, exports, and sound mixing
  • Digitization, transfers, and DCP creation

Ineligible Costs and Activities

  • Services not necessary for the confirmed diffusion
  • Technician fees
  • Supplies and diffusion media

Processing and Agreement

  • Eligible applications are reviewed by a jury made up of the general director and at least one artist member of the board
  • Applications are assessed on merit against the program criteria
  • Funding decisions are final and without appeal
  • Applicants are informed of the decision within 10 business days after submission
  • Recipients must sign an agreement before receiving support

  • Recipients must become a PRIM member.
  • A signed agreement is required before support is granted.
  • There is no limit to the number of projects accepted.
  • One application per calendar year per artist or collective.
