Grant and Funding Programs Offered by Clean, Green & Beautiful Committee

The Clean, Green & Beautiful Committee is a municipal committee of the City of Thunder Bay that provides grant funding for public art, beautification, heritage preservation, and environmental greening initiatives. The committee offers Emerging Projects Grants of up to $5,000 for local organizations and businesses, and School Grants of up to $2,000 for secondary schools. Rôle du Comité dans l'écosystème du financement

Le Comité Clean, Green & Beautiful de la Ville de Thunder Bay joue un rôle essentiel dans l'amélioration de la qualité de vie urbaine en finançant des projets communautaires axés sur l'art public, l'embellissement, le patrimoine et le verdissement environnemental. Créé après l'adoption d'une politique par le Conseil municipal, le comité fonctionne comme un organe consultatif qui recommande et supervise le financement de projets embelli.

Programmes de subventions

Le comité offre deux principaux programmes de financement : les Subventions pour projets émergents (jusqu'à 5 000 $) pour les organisations locales, les entreprises et les groupes municipaux, et les Subventions Green and Beautiful School (jusqu'à 2 000 $) pour les écoles secondaires de la région.

Prix et reconnaissance

En partenariat avec la Chambre de commerce de Thunder Bay, le comité présente annuellement les Prix Clean, Green & Beautiful dans le cadre des Business Excellence Awards. Ces prix reconnaissent les entreprises et organisations qui enrichissent la vie communautaire par leurs projets d'art public, d'embellissement, de patrimoine et de verdissement.

Gouvernance et transparence

Le comité est composé de membres représentant divers secteurs communautaires, y compris des représentants municipaux, des artistes, des hommes d'affaires et des citoyens. Les bénéficiaires de subventions doivent soumettre un rapport final décrivant l'impact de leur projet sur la communauté.
