Eligible expenses

  • Construction materials and equipment
  • Professional services for project supervision
  • Pumps, valves, pipes, liners, meters, and related parts
  • Power line extensions needed for the project

  • In-kind activities
  • Non-agricultural uses and unrelated water activities
  • Farm equipment, land purchases, and used materials
  • Wells, water quality treatment, and ongoing operations or maintenance

Processing and Agreement

  • EOIs are screened for eligibility, completeness, and alignment with program criteria.
  • Selected EOIs are invited to submit a full application through the IAF Client Portal.
  • Applications are reviewed by IAF and then by a Technical Review Committee, with additional expert review if needed.
  • Applicants receive the funding decision by email through the portal.
  • If approved, the applicant signs a contribution agreement before any project activity can begin.

  • Successful EOIs are invited to submit a full application.
  • Project communications require prior funding acknowledgement approval.
