Eligible expenses
- Purchase and installation of eligible electrification equipment.
Ineligible Costs and Activities
- Equipment purchased before pre-approval.
Eligible geographic areas
- BC Hydro service territory, including New Westminster.
- Northern customers located north of and including the District of 100 Mile House.
Processing and Agreement
- Application is reviewed for accuracy and completeness.
- The CleanBC Small Buildings Energy Coach may contact the applicant to verify information and provide an estimated incentive amount.
- BC Hydro reviews the application and issues a pre-approval email if approved, subject to budget availability.
- After project completion, closing documents are reviewed before payment is issued.
- A post-implementation review may be conducted to confirm the approved measures were installed as proposed.

- The program is currently paused and is not accepting new applications.
- Free energy coaching support is available for applicants.
- An energy study is not required.
- Projects that do not qualify may be considered under CleanBC Custom or Custom Lite.
