Ineligible Costs and Activities
- Production losses, scrap, or other losses caused by project activities
- Commitments and expenses incurred before the expense eligibility date
- Taxes and duties; land purchases; expenses to prepare the application
- Non-necessary or unjustifiable expenses, including directors’ or managers’ salaries, representation expenses, and loan interest
- Trade shows, conferences, missions, and exhibitions outside Quebec unless directly related to the project, and any other expense not directly associated with the project

How to apply
- Verify that your project is sufficiently advanced for Technoclimat
- Fill out and submit the declaration of interest
- Wait for Technoclimat to analyze the declaration of interest and indicate whether you may submit an official financial assistance application
- Submit the financial assistance application with the required form, project plan, CVs, and financial statements, if applicable
Processing and Agreement
- After the declaration of interest is analyzed, Technoclimat will indicate whether an official financial assistance application may be submitted
- If the project is deemed receivable, an editable version of all forms and templates will be sent by email
- For any ambiguous expense, the participant must provide the required justifications and the responsible Technoclimat officer makes the final decision on eligibility

Pre-commercial clean fuel innovation at TRL 4 to 7, or testing of a demonstrated and commercial technology absent from, or very marginal in, the Quebec market
The technology must have quantified energy and GHG impacts for the first five years of commercialization or deployment
The project must be carried out in Quebec unless justified otherwise, and it must include clear objectives, a precise schedule, a well-established budget, identified partners and demonstration sites, tests, and measuring activities
