Eligibility

  • For-profit organizations whose activity is commercial or intended to generate profit

How to apply

  • Use the Grants and Contributions Online Service (GCOS) to apply.
  • You can also apply by email or by mail.
  • For email or mail applications, download and complete the application form (EMP5671).
  • Send your application by email to EDSC.ODD2030-2030SDG.ESDC@hrsdc-rhdcc.gc.ca by 11:59 p.m. Pacific Standard Time (PST) on January 22, 2024.
  • If mailing your application, print, sign, and mail the documents to Sustainable Development Goals Funding Program submissions, Coordination Unit Mailstop 402, 140 Promenade du Portage Phase IV 4th Floor, Gatineau QC K1A 0J9.

Processing and Agreement

  • Applications are reviewed after submission.
  • Funding decisions are expected in Spring 2024.
  • If the application is incomplete, the applicant will be emailed and given 5 business days to provide missing information.
  • Do not start the project before approval.
  • An acknowledgment is issued after submission through GCOS, and mail submissions receive an email acknowledgment within 14 days.

Additional information

  • Eligible organizations can submit only one application under this call for proposals.
  • You cannot apply to both the Grants and Contributions streams.
  • Applicants in Quebec may need Government of Quebec approval before funding can proceed.
