Overview

The Sustainable Development Goals Funding Program offers financial support to projects that promote awareness and best practices related to the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development in Canada. The program provides up to $200,000 to organizations, municipalities, and government bodies for initiatives that reinforce social equity, environmental sustainability, and community prosperity, with an emphasis on vulnerable and equity-deserving groups.

This grant aims to facilitate collaboration among diverse stakeholders committed to advancing Canada’s SDGs through innovative programs, community engagement, and knowledge sharing. Selected projects will be expected to demonstrate how they contribute to Canada's sustainable development objectives and impact the target populations positively.
