Overview
This program provides up to $200,000 annually to support projects that increase access to culturally safe and Indigenous-led support services for victims of crime. It aims to improve justice interactions and develop partnerships to address systemic harms faced by Indigenous victims.
Activities funded
- Design and delivery of culturally safe victim support services
- Development of partnerships among Indigenous agencies and justice systems
- Activities to improve victims' experiences with the criminal justice system
Examples of admissible projects:

- Not-for-profit victim service organizations partnering with Indigenous groups
- Municipal or regional governments working with Indigenous communities
- Provincial and territorial governments working with Indigenous organizations
