This program is open to residents and entrepreneurs in the Northwest Territories who need funding for arts, crafts, film making, prospecting activities, or other self-employment ventures. Minimum equity requirements vary based on community classification.
  • NWT Residents and entrepreneurs are eligible to apply.
  • Minimum Equity Requirements:
    • Group 1 communities (Yellowknife, Hay River, Fort Smith, and Inuvik) – 30% of project costs
    • Group 2 communities (all other communities within NWT) – 20% of project costs
  • Sweat equity may be accepted in certain circumstances.
