Who is eligible?
- Incorporated for-profit businesses staffed in British Columbia
- Not-for-profit organizations that support SMEs

Selection criteria
- Capacity and readiness to complete key activities by March 31, 2026 and the full project by March 31, 2028.
- Exporting value-added products internationally or to other provinces.
- Evidence of tariff impact, actual losses, and business growth potential.
- Canadian ownership above 50%.
- Confirmed non-PacifiCan and non-government funding above the minimum required.
How to apply
- Review the eligibility requirements.
- Review the applicant guide for SMEs or not-for-profits.
- Submit an application through the online application portal.
- Select the correct organization and program stream when creating the submission.
- Include the completed attestation form and supplemental form with the submission.
Processing and Agreement
- Applications received in the first 30 days of the program opening are currently being processed.
- A funding decision is expected within 90 business days for 90% of applications.
- Applications that meet more prioritization criteria are given higher priority.
- Technical proposals involving new technological innovations may be assessed by NRC-IRAP or another external party.

- Information provided by applicants may be shared with other federal departments and agencies, provincial or territorial governments, and municipal governments to review projects and determine eligibility for other Government of Canada programs.
