The Hosting BC guidelines now show funding up to $20,000 instead of up to $35,000, and the program description now says the Province of BC invests $500,000 annually. The application portal has also changed to a new Apply link, and the intake cadence is now described as three times per year.

- Complete the online application form.
- Create an account to apply, or use your existing account if you have applied through the portal before.
- Save your application and return to it later if needed.
- Review your application before submission, as it cannot be modified after submission.
- Submit the application through the online portal.
- Save the notification email confirming your submission.
Processing and Agreement
- Eligible applications are reviewed by a review panel consisting of sport sector experts.
- The panel bases its recommendations and funding levels on the eligibility and assessment criteria in the guidelines, with guidance from viaSport.
- Applicants may be asked to provide additional supporting information at the discretion of viaSport staff or the review panel.
- Successful candidates are required to submit a post-grant report or survey.
- Successful applicants may be asked to participate in follow-up communications at the discretion of the viaSport grants team.
- Approved awards are paid by direct deposit (EFT) after the grant letter is signed by the intended recipient.
