Who is eligible?
- Ontario producers growing fresh market vegetables under acreage-loss coverage.
Eligible expenses
- Work performed to replant a crop or salvage a crop.
- Inputs used to replant a crop or salvage a crop.
Ineligible Costs and Activities
- Loss or damage due to storage conditions.
How to apply
- Complete the Acreage Report form and submit it to Agricorp by the deadline by fax, email or mail.
- Report crop damage to Agricorp as soon as it occurs by calling 1-888-247-4999.
Processing and Agreement
- Agricorp may contact you for more information or to schedule an inspection of damaged crops.
- Agricorp may contact you to organize an inspection or to fill the required forms.
- You must obtain Agricorp's consent before replanting, abandoning, destroying, or changing the use of a crop to remain eligible for an indemnity.
- For unseeded acreage and replanting or salvage indemnities, you must provide receipts and production records before payment.
