The OMIF Live Music stream is open to domestic music promoters and presenters, including festivals, with revenues under $1 million or those with revenues over $1 million who do not meet eligibility for the Experience Ontario program. Organizations or businesses in these categories may apply if they aim to support the production and promotion of live music events featuring Canadian artists. The priority is given to projects that can demonstrate increased opportunities for artists, career advancements in the live music sector, and economic development through live music events in Ontario. Applicants are required to provide a matching contribution and exhibit measurable outcomes in alignment with the program's objectives.Who is not eligible

- Domestic music promoters and presenters with annual revenues over $1M who meet the eligibility criteria for Experience Ontario are not eligible to apply for OMIF.
- Applicants cannot receive funding from both OMIF and Experience Ontario for the same event in the same activity window.
- International artist fees and expenses not related to Canadian artists/groups are not eligible for funding.
