The OAC Media Arts Organizations: Operating grant provides ongoing operational funding to not-for-profit, professional media arts organizations based in Ontario to strengthen the province’s media arts sector. Eligibility

- The organization must have at least $75,000 in total revenues for the last fiscal year and in projected revenues for the current and requested years (for those not already funded by this program).
- The organization must have at least two years of sustained, regular, ongoing programming as of the application date.
- The organization must have a range of revenue sources and an active board of directors or governing body.
- The organization must pay appropriate professional fees to artists, following recommended fee schedules from CARFAC and IMAA.

- Register for an account with Canadian Arts Data / Données sur les arts au Canada (CADAC) if you are a new applicant.
- Step 3: Prepare Application MaterialsAnswer all application questions as provided in Nova.
- Prepare and upload financial and statistical information through CADAC.
- Upload your organization’s most recent financial statements to CADAC.
- Collect artistic examples such as audiovisual documentation showcasing your organization’s programming activities.
- Step 4: Complete and Submit Application in NovaComplete the application in Nova, ensuring all sections and attachments are complete.
- Submit your application through the Nova system before the deadline.
- Step 5: Await NotificationApplication results will be communicated approximately five months after the deadline.

- Applications are available approximately two months before the deadline in the Nova online granting system.
- Grant notification is expected about five months after the application deadline.
- The program is in year 2 of a three-year cycle for 2025; new applicants may only apply in the first year of the cycle.
