Fee-for-service imaging, fluorescence and microscopy services including flow cytometry, high throughput DNA, and RNA and protein measurements.
Eligible projects & activities
The NRC grant for Imaging, Fluorescence, and Microscopy services allows the utilization of advanced technical services to enhance research and technological development. The eligible projects and activities are geared towards leveraging high-end imaging and analytical equipment for scientific and business purposes.
- Engage in high sensitivity multi-color flow cytometry for various cellular analyses including live/dead analysis and apoptosis detection.
- Perform multiplex, rapid quantitative analysis on up to 50 target genes, DNA fragments, RNA, peptides, or proteins using advanced Luminex Magpix systems.
- Conduct time-lapsed imaging of live cell shear flow assays for studies on wound healing, cellular adhesion, and migration using Fluxion BioFlux 200 systems.
- Develop and test new technologies leveraging fee-for-service options for custom research needs.
- Create tailored research plans in partnership with NRC experts to align with specific technology goals, through service or collaborative research arrangements.
