Who is eligible?
- Canadian not-for-profit organizations, associations and unincorporated groups
- Canadian municipalities and townships with a population of up to 10,000
- Indigenous not-for-profit organizations
- Indigenous governments, band councils and tribal councils
Who is not eligible
- Organizations that discriminate on prohibited grounds or on the basis of language
- Organizations that advocate intolerance, discrimination or prejudice
- Organizations that support offensive content or discourse
- Organizations that undermine Canada’s Anti-Racism Strategy or the Charter and Human Rights Act
- Religious, political, commercial or private events

- Speakers, performers and artists fees and expenses
- Travel, accommodation, insurance, translation, communications, venue and setup costs
- Administrative and overhead costs up to 15%

How to apply

- Complete, sign and date the application form.
- Complete the budget form and gather all required supporting documents.

- Watch for an acknowledgement of receipt within two weeks.
