- The local ecocentre in Bedford will close on November 10, 2024, and will not reopen in 2025. Applicants should be aware of this change if coordination for materials or disposal services is necessary.
- Access to the regional ecocentre in Cowansville is available six days a week, year-round, which might be relevant for sourcing or disposing of materials needed for adaptation works.
- Financial assistance is available up to a maximum of $50,000 per eligible person, with specific caps for different types of work, such as $12,000 for external access works and another $12,000 for internal adaptations.
- Option 2 allows for retroactive financial assistance for qualifying works completed up to 12 months prior to the application's receipt.
