Processing and Agreement
- An accredited inspector visits the building to prepare the list of eligible work to be included in the estimate.
- Based on the estimate, the owner obtains one or more quotes from businesses with an appropriate RBQ licence and sends the City the quote from the company that will carry out the work.
- The City completes the file and, if everything is compliant, sends a certificate of eligibility that authorizes the owner to start the work and states the amount payable after completion.
- When the work is finished, the inspector verifies that it was completed according to the estimate and reports to the City; after approval, the amount is paid.
