The Fonds Jeunes Promoteurs (JP) aims to support young entrepreneurs aged 18 to 39 in creating or acquiring their first business by offering technical and financial assistance, with a maximum funding amount of $10,000 per enterprise. Eligible activities include projects that demonstrate viability through a business plan, create or maintain at least two permanent jobs, and are supported by a minimum equity investment of 20%.
Financing terms and conditions
- Loan of $5,000 per promoter, with a maximum of $10,000 per business.
- Interest-free financing.
- The total funding cannot exceed the promoter's personal financial contribution (minimum 20%).
- 35-month capital repayment moratorium from the date of first disbursement.
- Repayment in two annual instalments: 50% of the loan balance due three years after first disbursement, and the final payment one year later.
