Overview of the MRC Beauce Sartigan — Young Promoters Fund (YP) program
The Fonds Jeunes Promoteurs (JP) aims to support young entrepreneurs aged 18 to 39 in creating or acquiring their first business by offering technical and financial assistance, with a maximum funding amount of $10,000 per enterprise. Eligible activities include projects that demonstrate viability through a business plan, create or maintain at least two permanent jobs, and are supported by a minimum equity investment of 20%.
Financing terms and conditions
- Loan of $5,000 per promoter, with a maximum of $10,000 per business.
- Interest-free financing.
- The total funding cannot exceed the promoter's personal financial contribution (minimum 20%).
- 35-month capital repayment moratorium from the date of first disbursement.
- Repayment in two annual instalments: 50% of the loan balance due three years after first disbursement, and the final payment one year later.

Eligibility criteria of the MRC Beauce Sartigan — Young Promoters Fund (YP) program
- The applicant must be an individual aged between 18 and 39 years old.
- The person must possess relevant experience or training related to the proposed project.
- The applicant must commit to working full time in the business.
- The applicant must own at least 50% of the business (or at least 25% of voting and participating shares in succession projects).
- The project must create or maintain at least two permanent jobs.
