To be eligible for the International Promotion Program grant, the following criteria must be met:
1. Canadian-owned and controlled companies specializing in production and distribution, sales agencies of Canadian feature-length or short films (drama or documentary), television series, or XR projects can apply.
2. Production companies invited to participate in a coproduction forum or invited by Telefilm to join one of its international initiatives are eligible.
3. The project must be a Canadian short or feature-length film, TV series, or XR project that is selected for a recognized international festival or an eligible coproduction project recognized by the Minister of Canadian Heritage.
4. Applicants are advised to comply with the Government of Canada’s Travel Advice and Advisories for any travel outside of Canada during the COVID-19 pandemic.
These criteria ensure that the grant supports Canadian companies in promoting their audiovisual projects on an international stage.
