Eligible expenses
- Upgrading or replacing existing ground signage.
- Installing new ground signage.
- Upgrading ground signage lighting, including LED conversion.
- Installing new ground signage lighting, including installation costs.
Ineligible Costs and Activities
- Works that do not meet the program’s eligibility requirements.
- Works not completed within one year of approval.
Eligible geographic areas
- Community Improvement Project Area in the Township of Selwyn.
Processing and Agreement
- Application and supporting documents are reviewed by Township staff.
- Staff may request clarification or additional information.
- A site visit or inspection may be conducted before approval.
- If approved, a Grant Agreement is signed and returned to the applicant.
- After completion, staff inspect the work and review paid invoices and before-and-after photos before issuing payment.
Additional information
- No application fee is charged.
- A pre-application meeting with Township staff is required before applying.
- The Township may audit project costs before payment is issued.
