How to apply
- Step 1: Pre-application consultation
- Arrange a meeting or consultation with staff.
- Confirm eligibility, scope of work, and timing.
- Step 2: Application submission
- Complete the application form.
- Ensure all required signatures are included.
- Submit the application with the required supporting documents.
- Step 3: Review and approval
- Staff review the application and supporting documents.
- Additional clarification or documents may be requested.
- If approved, the Township issues an approval letter and the grant agreement is signed.
- Step 4: Final submission and payment
- Prepare the study or drawings after approval.
- Submit electronic and hard copies, along with paid invoices and the grant receipt form.
- The Township reviews the submission and issues the grant cheque if approved.
Processing and Agreement
- Applications are reviewed by staff for eligibility.
- Staff may request clarification or additional supporting documents.
- Applicants are notified in writing if the application does not meet requirements.
- If approved, a grant agreement is executed before funding is issued.
- The Township may inspect the property and audit study costs before payment.
