  • Costs related to research and the dissemination of knowledge, methods and tools to support the teaching of English or French as a second language and facilitate learning.
  • Administrative overhead related to the funded activities.

How to apply

  • Review the Application Guidelines.
  • Complete and sign the Application form – Official Languages Support Programs for the Cooperation with the Non-Governmental Sector subcomponent, select the subcomponent from the drop-down list, date it, and attach all required supporting documents.
  • Submit the complete application package by email to dglo-olsp@pch.gc.ca.
  • If there is an application deadline, the email must be sent no later than 4 p.m. Eastern Time (ET) on the deadline date.

  • Applications are reviewed for completeness and eligibility.
  • Proposals are evaluated against program criteria and available funding.
  • The department sends an acknowledgement of receipt within two weeks.
  • Funding decisions are final.
  • A funding agreement applies for contributions, and reports may be required.
