Selection criteria
- Applications are evaluated based on the number and quality of applications received for each application deadline.
- The project is consistent with the objectives of the Appreciation and Rapprochement subcomponent.
- The proposed activities are relevant to the situation described.
- The expected outcomes will have a real impact on the target clientele.
- The proposed performance measurements are relevant.
How to apply
- Request a Letter of Intent form by contacting the program.
- Complete and submit the Letter of Intent form by email to dglo-olsp@pch.gc.ca.
- If selected, complete and sign the Application form – Official Languages Support Programs, select the Appreciation and Rapprochement subcomponent, and attach all required supporting elements.
- Submit the complete funding application package by email to dglo-olsp@pch.gc.ca.
- When an application deadline is identified, the email must be sent no later than 4:00 p.m. Eastern Time (ET) on the date of the application deadline.
Processing and Agreement
- Applications are acknowledged within two weeks of receipt.
- The program may target funding to specific projects.
- All decisions regarding eligibility and funding amounts are final.
- A grant may require a report and/or participation in the evaluation of results at the end of the project.
- A contribution agreement is signed by your organization and the department and specifies the terms and conditions to receive payment.
Additional information
- Applicants must follow a two-step application process.
- Only retained project proposals are invited to submit a full application.
- Incomplete applications are rejected.
- Funding is not guaranteed by eligibility alone.
