  • Marketing expenses, up to 25% of each title’s budget
  • Eligible travel expenses under the program travel policy

  • Capital expenditures and in-kind expenses
  • Print-on-demand production and shipping costs for distribution
  • Titles without full editorial control, or by political, religious, or discriminatory organizations

Processing and Agreement

  • Applications are first reviewed by Creative Saskatchewan staff for completeness and eligibility.
  • Eligible applications are then assessed through an external review process.
  • Applicants are notified by email and through the Grant Management System.
  • Approved applicants receive a Letter of Commitment that must be signed by both parties.
  • Funding is released only after the agreement is executed and any conditions are met.

Additional information

  • Applications must be submitted through Creative Saskatchewan’s online Grant Management System.
  • Successful recipients must include Creative Saskatchewan’s logo in the book and on promotional materials.
  • Applications may be rejected if incomplete or if ineligible expenses exceed 50% of the project budget.
