  • Any other document allowing the submitted project to be analyzed.

Eligibility

Who is eligible?

  • The Fédération québécoise des motos hors route (FQMHR).
  • Affiliated "organization" members of the FQMHR.

Who is not eligible

  • Applicants listed in the Register of Enterprises Ineligible for Public Contracts (RENA), including their subcontractors listed in the RENA.
  • Applicants who have failed to meet their obligations, during the two years preceding the application, after having been duly notified in connection with prior financial assistance from a ministry or agency of the Government of Quebec.

Eligible expenses

  • The installation, replacement and maintenance of signage in accordance with the FQMHR signage guide.
  • The construction, modernization and improvement of trails or local structures used by recognized affiliated members of the FQMHR.
  • Compensation expenses related to trail safety, as well as those related to FQMHR liaison officers.
  • The development and delivery of training in safety and environmental protection.
  • Awareness-raising activities for safe and environmentally responsible practices.

Ineligible Costs and Activities

  • Expenses already supported under the financial assistance program for off-road vehicles – Infrastructure and wildlife protection.
  • Trail maintenance expenses not recognized by the FQCQ or the FQMHR.
  • Repairs to trail maintenance equipment and the acquisition of vehicles whose primary purpose is to travel on roads.
  • Expenses incurred to prepare the application, financing arrangement fees, expenses incurred before submission, debt financing, loan repayment and financing of a project already completed.
  • The refundable portion of the QST, GST or HST, expenses with a company listed in the RENA, ordinary operating expenses and any expense not explicitly provided for.

  • Applications are selected based on the highest merit among those analyzed.

How to apply

  • Obtain the financial assistance application form on the FQMHR website.
  • Complete the application and submit it to the Ministry of Transport and Sustainable Mobility with the supporting documents and required documents.
  • Submit a complete, understandable and accurate file, and correct any deficiencies within the allotted time, if necessary.
  • Send the application no later than the deadline set by the call for projects and published on the Ministry's website.

Processing and Agreement

  • Complete, understandable and accurate applications are submitted for evaluation; deficiencies must be corrected within the allotted time.
  • Amounts are awarded to applications with the greatest merit according to predetermined criteria.
  • The recipient must enter into an undertaking with the minister and comply with the program provisions, laws and regulations, as well as the required authorizations.
  • In the event of non-compliance, the minister may reduce, cancel or request repayment of amounts overpaid, without interest.
  • Assistance is paid when all supporting documents have been received and the allocation rules have been met.
