- Financing plan, map supporting the mileage calculation and, if applicable, signed purchase contract as well as financing guarantee.
Eligibility
Who is eligible?
- Quad clubs that are members of the FQCQ.
- Quad club associations that are members of the FQCQ.
Who is not eligible
- Applicants listed in the Register of enterprises ineligible for public contracts (RENA), including their subcontractors listed in the RENA.
- Applicants who have failed to meet their obligations, during the two years preceding the application, after having been duly formally notified in connection with prior financial assistance from the Government of Quebec.
Eligible expenses
- Summer maintenance work: leveling of the travel surface, maintenance of signage and drainage ditches, brush clearing.
- Winter maintenance work: trail surfacing, maintenance of signage and drainage ditches, brush clearing.
- Maintenance expenses related to the number of kilometers of trails recognized by the FQCQ maintained in the previous year.
- Acquisition of motorized vehicles and trail maintenance equipment, including a farm tractor of more than 55 horsepower, excavator, bulldozer, grader and snow grooming equipment.
Ineligible Costs and Activities
- Expenses already funded under the off-road vehicle financial assistance program – Infrastructure and wildlife protection.
- Trail maintenance expenses for trails not recognized by the FQCQ.
- Repairs to trail maintenance equipment and acquisition of vehicles whose primary purpose is to travel on the road.
- Expenses incurred to prepare the application, financial structuring costs, expenses incurred before submission, debt financing, loan repayment and financing of a project already completed.
- Refundable QST, refundable GST or HST, expenses from an enterprise registered in the RENA or regular operating expenses not directly related to projects.
Selection criteria
- For projects to acquire equipment recognized by the FQCQ, applications are prioritized according to the age of the vehicles, their value and their mileage.
How to apply
- Fill out the financial assistance application form for trail maintenance.
- Attach the supporting documents and required documents so that the application is valid.
- Send the application to the FQCQ by email at administration@fqcq.qc.ca or by mail to Bois-des-Filion, Quebec.
- Submit the application no later than the deadline indicated on the program web page.
Processing and Agreement
- Files must be complete, understandable and based on accurate data; otherwise, deficiencies must be corrected within the time allowed.
- Applications received are analyzed before assistance is awarded.
- For component I, assistance is paid in a single installment of 100 % when all supporting documents have been received.
- If an application combines trail opening or maintenance work and equipment purchase, payment may be separate for each component of the file.
