Eligibility criteria of the Alberta Agricultural Societies Program program
- The applicant must be an agricultural society.
- The agricultural society must operate a facility or run an agricultural event/program.
- The society must be in good standing under the Agricultural Societies Act.
- The expenses claimed must be paid by the agricultural society and included in the year-end financial statements.
- Financial statements must be prepared by a professional accounting firm, either as an audit report or a review engagement report.
- The total operational spending of the agricultural society must exceed the base grant each year.
- Travel expenses must be within Canada.

- Organizations that are in good standing under the Agricultural Societies Act.
- Societies involved in governance, leadership, and training related to agriculture.
