Financing terms and conditions

  • The ACCTerm Loan offers amounts ranging from $20,000 to $300,000.
  • The loan has a maximum term of five (5) years.
  • There is a maximum amortization period of twenty (20) years.
  • The loan can be utilized for purposes such as expansion, renovations, equipment purchase, facility acquisition, working capital establishment, or debt refinancing.
  • There is a credit application fee amounting to 1% of the loan, with a minimum of $250.
  • A minimum credit score of 550 is required.

Eligibility criteria of the ACCFutures — ACC Term program

  • The business must be registered in the jurisdiction of ACCFutures, which includes Akwesasne, Cornwall, or the counties of Stormont, Dundas, and Glengarry.
  • The business must not engage in commercial exploitation of sex, religion, politics, or illegal activities.
  • The business must demonstrate commercial viability.
  • The business must show the ability to repay the funds advanced through the loan or capital contribution.
  • The business must have the potential to create new jobs or maintain existing jobs in the jurisdiction of ACCFutures.
  • No board member of ACCFutures is eligible to receive financial assistance.
  • No staff member of ACCFutures is eligible to receive financial assistance.
  • Applicants in an unresolved bankruptcy situation are ineligible for financial assistance.
  • Applicants who have declared bankruptcy twice or more are ineligible for financial assistance.
  • A minimum credit score of 550 is required.

Who is eligible?

To qualify for the ACCFutures ACC Term grant, businesses must be registered within the jurisdiction of ACCFutures, which includes Akwesasne, Cornwall, and the united counties of Stormont, Dundas, and Glengarry. There are no sector-specific restrictions for eligibility, but the business must demonstrate commercial viability, the ability to repay funds, and the potential to create or maintain jobs within the eligible areas. Additionally, companies involved must ensure they are not associated with commercial exploitation of sex, religion, politics, or illegal activities. The business should not involve any board member or ACCFutures staff member in receiving financial aid, should not be under unresolved bankruptcy, and applicants must have a minimum credit score of 550. There is also a credit application fee amounting to 1% of the loan, with a minimum of $250.

Who is not eligible

  • Companies involved in the commercial exploitation of sex, religion, or politics.
  • Businesses involved in illegal activities.
  • Any business where a member of the board of directors seeks financial assistance.
  • Companies where a member of the ACCFutures staff seeks financial assistance.
  • Applicants in a state of unrehabilitated bankruptcy.
  • Applicants who have declared bankruptcy two or more times.
