The Township of North Dumfries is the municipal government for North Dumfries, Ontario. It provides local leadership, planning, infrastructure oversight, recreation services, and community support for residents and organizations across the township, including communities such as Ayr and Branchton.
As part of its role in community development, the Township administers an annual Community Grants Program that has been in place since 2017. The program supports local organizations and projects that benefit the township in areas such as youth and senior events, community betterment, special events, community service, tourism and economic development, arts, culture, heritage, and disaster relief.
