REACH Nexus is a national collaborative leadership network and implementation science centre focused on HIV, stigma reduction, testing access and community-based action. Its Positive Effect and Positive Actions initiatives encourage small, peer-led projects that help end HIV stigma in local communities through education, support, creative campaigns and practical action. In the funding ecosystem, REACH Nexus is important because HIV stigma and access barriers are often best addressed by community organizations, peers and people with lived experience, yet these groups may lack flexible project funding. Grant support can help them build trust, reach underserved communities, normalize testing, promote U=U and create local interventions that public health systems alone may not deliver. By linking research, implementation science and community grants, REACH Nexus helps move evidence into funded action and strengthens the bridge between academic health work and grassroots HIV response.
