Grant and Funding Programs Offered by Fondation Madeli-Aide

The Fondation Madeli-Aide continues to make a significant difference for young people from the Îles-de-la-Madeleine. In 2025, the foundation awarded a total of $217,833 in scholarships to 117 students. These scholarships support students from vocational, college, and university levels, enabling them to pursue their academic passions and dreams. The annual scholarship ceremony took place in Havre-aux-Maisons, where community pride and student perseverance were celebrated in front of over 200 attendees.

In 2025, the foundation also achieved outstanding results through its fundraising initiatives. The famous lobster dinners, held in Quebec City and Montreal aboard the AML Louis Joliet and the AML Cavalier Maxim, brought together nearly 800 supporters for the education of the islands' youth. Thanks to the generosity and support of 37 companies and partner foundations, over $540,000 was raised in the first year of the 2024-2029 fundraising campaign. These funds are crucial for sustaining and expanding the impact of the foundation’s work for years to come.
